Since it is Mama Monday I thought it right to talk about us Mamas. After all, we are the topic of conversation. I think our first order of business is to consider who this involves. What do you think makes a Mama a Mama?
Well to avoid any type of confusion I think we better set the record straight. Some Mamas have babies here on earth, this is the most obvious type of Mama I suppose. These Mamas grow big, beautiful bellies and nine months later they are blessed with a tiny, squirmy little baby.

Some Mamas grow their children in their bellies,
other Mamas grow them in their heart.
Mamas can’t always grow these big bellies on their own. Sometime these Mamas need a little help, so they have a surrogate help them out. Or they seek out a special child who was meant just for them to adopt. There are also foster Mamas. Mamas who have a spot open in their heart and home for a darling child.

Some babies who are born sleeping. These are very special Mamas who carry their babes in their heart instead of their arms.

All these Mamas may sound very different. They all have different circumstances and situations. They make different choices and have individual thoughts.
But if all these Mamas had a talk there would be one thing they all agree on.
Their babies were the best risk any of them ever took.
